Scott Leonard
Scott grew up in upstate New York near the Canadian border, where a passion for hockey, the outdoors, and athletics shaped his competitive mindset early on. A former collegiate hockey player and National Champion, Scott has spent more than 30 years involved in sports as an athlete, coach, and mentor.
His background in fitness and performance led him to serve as an instructor at the Connecticut State Police Academy, where he helped transition physical training from traditional cardio-based methods to a more functional fitness approach designed for real-world performance. Scott now returns to the Academy as Recruit Coordinator, continuing his commitment to leadership, discipline, and developing others.
Scott began his CrossFit journey in 2008 and joined Romeo Athletics in 2010. Katlyn Cowles
I have been a Fitness Coach and Personal Trainer for over 10 years, with a lifelong passion for sports, exercise, and helping others perform at their best. After graduating from Keene State College in 2013, I began my career working with individuals with disabilities, where I discovered how meaningful it was to positively impact people’s lives. Over time, that passion evolved into helping others through fitness, wellness, and strength training.
While working full-time, I pursued certifications and education in personal training, eventually taking the leap in 2023 to start my own business out of Romeo Athletics in Enfield, CT. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to helping clients build confidence, strength, and healthier lifestyles through functional training, strength development, and sustainable nutrition habits.
I believe consistency, accountability, and a supportive environment are the foundation for long-term success. My goal is not only to help clients achieve physical results, but to support them through challenges both inside and outside of the gym while building trust and lasting relationships along the way.

Natalie Potter
I wasn’t always the person who loved the gym. For years, I struggled with my weight, confidence, and consistency. After countless cycles of frustration and starting over, I made the decision to stop chasing quick fixes and commit to becoming stronger, healthier, and happier for the long term.
Through that journey, I lost more than 60 pounds — but more importantly, I gained discipline, confidence, and a deeper understanding of what it truly takes to create sustainable change. That transformation sparked a passion for helping others realize they are capable of far more than they believe.
Today, as a certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, I specialize in helping people build confidence through strength training, sustainable nutrition, and realistic lifestyle habits. My coaching style combines empathy with structure — creating personalized, results-driven programs that fit real life, not perfection.
Whether your goal is fat loss, building muscle, improving confidence, or simply feeling stronger and healthier, my mission is to guide and support you every step of the way. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to start from zero, and I’m passionate about helping others create lasting change from the inside out.
